Frosty is complete! In its full life-sized form, anyone who wields it shall become the new Paper Lich King!

So.. whomever had been following my recent updates would have guessed this was coming up. At 34 pages, Frostmourne was definitely a challenge to put together, and therefore the reason why I started off with the previous few easier ones. It took about 3-4 days of ~3 hours each of cutting and scoring, followed by another 4 days of putting it together.

I abandoned the wooden Frostmourne project in favour for this, mostly due to the lack of time. With my current schedule, completing it might possibly take a year or more, by which I would have given up due to boredom.

First of all,nice camera dude,nice floor and stuff it looks almost real.
I did manage to make this out of paper,but you should check my wooden version of it [link]
Made if out of wood so i can slice and dice lighter objects,feels more real then paper one -There's lots to browse.Thanks

Not bad, not bad. Could do with a bit more details, but still pretty nice overall. I too was working on a wooden version a while before I made this paper model, but unfortunately didn't see it through to completion. The partially done blade is still lying somewhere in my room.. xD

I was trying to do this, but due to a fight I got in with my brother (whom I was building this blade for) I lost a poor bowl of cereal all over it and like 7 of the pages were ruined, along with the blade section which was done. -_-ll

I know. worst bit is that I'm out of my thicker paper for papercrafting. if you browse my files, you'll see what I have done so far, but it sucks cause I wanted to do it for him as a little favor since he asked me to after we started bonding. the last project I started working on, and am still working on is the Halo shotgun papercraft. full size, but pure white. it had no color templates. DX

Ah, yeah. The Halo templates usually don't come with colour, since layers will usually be added on top.

well not when it's a weapon usually, so I'm gonna see if I can do some form of spray paining on it, then add detailing to make the blue pieces and whatnot.
