And then dislocate every bone in my body, slam into the side of a building and/or fall three stories to my death?

I scaled it up in Photoshop (just adjusted the dimensions to 5x what they were originally and the result is a little to big (the handle of the sword comes out to be almost 8 inches tall and a very wide.  it just overall seems a smidge too big.  Is this the wrong way to scale it? thanks for any info!  overall though love the blueprints they are amazing!! if i do end up finishing/posting them anywhere i will for sure link to here!.

Sorry, not to sound stupid or anything, but after printing it out the scaling looks to be the perfect size (shouldn't judge size via the monitor).  Thanks again for sharing this with all of us, i'm excited to start working on the gear!

Hello,

I'm having a bit of trouble making the dimensions right >.< . Maybe I'm scaling this wrong but I can't seem to get reasonable dimensions after scaling the images. Please help >A<

The images are 1:5 scale, meaning that you'll have to scale them by 500% to get the actual size.

Very Nice.  May I receive permission to use this in further in my research on the 3DMG?  The whole design of the 3DMG is both impressive and confusing.  Of course, if it were to be real, many more humans would die a day due to splattering themselves into walls because of the immense force the 3DMG provides... but humans do adapt, so our intelligence and physical structures shall tell.....

Anyways, these blueprints are nice and to the point, and may be helpful in advancing the Gear for a project I'm currently working on.  ^_^  Problem is figuring how everything works...

Thank you very much! Is there a material you generally use for your props? I'm really into making props (hoping to continue with it as a profession), and I'm trying to learn as much as possible. I'm going to be cosplaying Mikasa in June and need to start work asap. Thank you so much!

You're welcome! I use a variety of materials, ranging from plastic, wood, to resin. It's probably good to try experimenting with the various materials available in your area, see what you're comfortable working with, then focus on that.

One small question though: Do you have the one image that has the three sheets as individual files? Scaling these is not going so well.

Unfortunately I don't. You can split them up using photoshop or any other image-editing program though!

The images in the zip file are 1:5 scale. Just multiply the dimensions by 5 to get the actual size. You may need to adjust the dimensions a bit depending on your height and body size.

Hi! You may want to scale the items to around 94% of the current size.

Question. Isn't the tip of the blade supposed to be facing forward?

Not sure what you mean. If you're talking about the tip of the blade being like a regular sword, then nope, it's supposed to resemble a craft knife.
